Use this information to see how JD Supra has magnified your thought leadership over the last 90 days, and use the accompanying link as a launch pad into additional deeper analytics.

What is included in 'Results'

  • Content Reads are the total number of reads earned for your content within the past 90 days. The number reflects readership of content published within the period as well as any content published previously but read during the timeframe covered.
  • The number of total reads reflects actual clicks through to your content by readers, not merely impressions in, say, an email or social stream.
  • Profile Views reflects the number of actual views of your author profile on JD Supra during the quarter. People arrive at your profile from searches, or by clicking on your name/byline from any one of your individual pieces of content.
  • New Posts indicates the total number of posts  published to your JD Supra author profile during the quarter.

Notes and next steps

  • Consider these numbers in relation to each other. If your total reads are up compared to the last quarter, is your number of new posts also higher? (Typically, the more content your produce, the more readers you acquire.) If not, you may have a single piece of content that is doing especially well right now. Click through to your additional analytics to identify which post it is. Consider re-visiting the topics addressed in this popular post; especially now, when it has proven, increased interest among readers. Consider collaborating with a colleague in marketing/BD. For example, is it time to produce a webinar, podcast, or video series to leverage heightened interest in this topic?
  • If your total reads seem down compared to previous quarters, look at your total output in the latest 90 days. Often, a drop in readership is easily explained with a related drop in content. Set aside time to produce new work. Use the Editorial Guidance/Writing Ideas (available in this dashboard) to ensure that you are writing on proven reader interest.
